Purple Carrot is the premier plant-based meal kit delivery service. We pride ourselves in developing, testing, and delivering great-tasting, healthy recipes that customers can prepare in the comfort of their homes. Founded in 2014, Purple Carrot is growing quickly. We seek to add an operations analyst to our fun and passionate team. Each week, our teams build a 60+ ingredient supply chain to support the bi-coastal production of our meal kits. Our operations analyst will participate in detailed supply chain data management, generation, and analysis. These efforts will reduce waste, improve labor efficiency, reduce cost variance, and boost gross margin. Experiences gained in this position will provide valuable insight into the operations of fast-paced company in an exciting and rewarding industry. About the role

• Extract and normalize cost data to standardize estimated, ordered, and invoiced ingredient cost units.
• Support our culinary team in recipe development by administering ingredient cost database.
• Nurture relationships with product, purchasing, and business development teams to manage ingredient cost data on an intra-week ingredient-by-ingredient basis.
• Analyze estimated cost accuracy versus actual cost data.
• Develop insights on the basis of data analysis, recommend opportunities for operations and supply chain improvement.
• After thorough training and in-the-moment learning, become an expert in Purple Carrot’s supply chain and production processes.
