By unifying marketing attribution and campaign execution across all channels, Zaius makes it easy to understand which campaigns are driving repeat purchases, new loyal customers, average order value, and other customer-centric metrics, and then automate coordinated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that move customers through their lifecycle.


We are looking for a New Business Technical Sales Consultant who has not only the desire for success, but has proven they can support our New Business Account Directors close net new business. At Zaius, we take a consultative approach, partner with and build a trusted rapport with our prospects and clients, by helping them identify their challenges and demonstrating how our products can be a single system of reference for desired business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Zaius Sales Account Directors via demoing the Zaius platform via solution selling on new logo acquisition.
  • Qualify to ensure all activity leads to potential revenue.
  • Intimate knowledge of the email marketer’s world and work flow.
  • Prior hands on experience working within or selling an ESP or other email marketing software.
  • Solid proven sales process methodology that focuses on tightly matching customer pain/requirements to solutions, understanding and controlling the sales cycle, and closing on your timeline.
  • Proven experience in partnering with New Business Sales Reps to mutually plan, prepare, and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
  • Be a credible and trusted advisor by speaking at the same level of sophisticated direct marketers.
  • Intimate knowledge of multi-channel customer data sets, touch points and direct marketing requirements of sophisticated marketing executives.
  • Ability to be successful with a high workload without a lot of larger company resources in the short term.
  • Intimately know and consistently win against the competition.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 3-7 years of direct SaaS sales experience with proven track record of closing new business and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong understanding of the entire span of direct marketing requirements, ecosystem and business drivers.
  • Significant past new logo acquisition sales execution.
  • Work closely with Sales Executive peer to define, create and execute account sales strategies.
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
  • Proven track record selling complex enterprise marketing solutions.
  • Ability to forge and maintain strong and lasting relationships.
  • Excellent diagnostic, communication and presentation, and presentation creation skills.
  • Successful startup to mature company evolution experience a big plus
  • Strong problem solving skillsProven success in boxing out competition.
  • Earn results and success vs. entitlement mentality.
  • Take pride in your work/work ethic.
  • Experience with the following:
  • Selling marketing technologies into upper end SMB, Mid-Market, and large B2C companies.
  • Selling into the digital marketing organization.
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics.
