A little bit about our app, Runkeeper transforms your phone into a personal trainer, helping you track your activities, set your goals, and stay motivated to go that extra mile. 
We are looking for Software Engineering Co-ops to work on the development of key functionality and infrastructure across the entire Runkeeper system in areas such as fitness tracking, coaching, social features, analytics and device integration. And while we are a fast moving company, many of us are not fast (or even moderately fast) runners. The idea of helping make the world a healthier place is the most rewarding piece for us.

Potential Projects You Could Work On: -Improve the overall tracking experience for the Runkeeper App
-Working on a stellar personalized training plan experience for our users
-Helping to build a platform for different potential media partnerships
-Creating a new world class eCommerce solution
-Updating our software in order to seamlessly integrate with the latest iPhone and Android operating systems as well as latest wearables (i.e. Pebble, Apple Watch, Android Wear)

Responsibilities: -Hands-on development for iOS and Android
-Hands-on development of Java-based web applications

Requirements: -Currently enrolled in a BS/MS program in Computer Science or equivalent
-Experience with a couple of the following: Android, iPhone, Java, Objective-C, Swift, JavaScript, AJAX, SQL, Agile/Scrum
