The Drizly Merchandising Catalog Transformation team is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and process driven analyst to join our business as we continue our ambitious plan to build the best online alcohol catalog. This person will be responsible for the growth of our enormous product catalog and data integrity of the beer vertical. The candidate who takes on this role should have a firm understanding of beer. Cicerone certified a plus.

Responsibilities: 

- Updating product category attributes and catalog standards to enhance the customer experience

- Classing and attributing products to improve the customers site search functionality

- Performing Quality Assurance processes on our online product catalog

- Building out our inventory breadth across our platform

- Editing and assessing product image quality and content

- Driving process, technical, and operational improvements

- Transforming and supplementing general product data for existing and emerging products

- Validating incoming project materials for accuracy and completeness to ensure data requirements are fulfilled

- Execute various merchandising projects as directed by the Product & Category Management Team

- Identify project issues and present data-driven analysis to drive business and technology enhancements and solutions

Skills & Experience:

- Four-year bachelor’s degree with 1-year professional experience in an analytical role

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task several projects

- Possess strong written and verbal cross-functional communication skills

- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

- Strong work ethic and high energy

- Attention to detail and ability to catch errors & suggest solutions

- Proficiency with Excel and Outlook

- Comfortable working with and learning new technology

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable working with and manipulating large amounts of data: experience with SQL / HTML / XML or other database language a plus
