HubSpot is hiring an enablement and strategic marketer to help our cross-sell and up-sell motions succeed. It’s a critical role for HubSpot’s future success and we’re looking for someone to lead the charge.

Some of the things you might work on include:

  • Talking to sales reps to understand what’s working and what isn’t in our cross-sell/up-sell motions
  • Analyzing company reports to determine cross-sell/up-sell success and reporting out to marketing & sales leadership
  • Creating enablement content and processes for the sales team
  • Identifying most qualified cross-sell/upsell demand and surfacing it to sales
  • Ensuring your programs have global adoption

We’re looking for someone like this:

  • You excel at cross-group collaboration and can easily get disparate teams to work together towards a common goal
  • Excited about solving tough problems no one else has solved. Aggressive goals don’t scare you, they excite you.
  • Obsessive over impact and results
  • Values speed over perfection
  • Prefers autonomy. You enjoy an environment where you’re making your own decisions; not being told what to do next.

You should have the following skills or experiences:

  • A proven track record of problem-solving, especially in ambiguous situations
  • Drives decisions with both quantitative and qualitative data or feedback. Can articulate WHY a shift in the data might be happening.
  • Can analyze complex data and understand which metrics to prioritize. Will involve analyzing existing dashboards in Looker and data analysis through Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups) referencing marketing, product, and/or customer data.
  • Ability to make smart strategic decisions; matching the needs of the sales team with the customer or prospect, and with the business.
  • Understands the sales cycle from the perspective of a sales team. Bonus if you’ve worked with sales teams in an enablement capacity previously.

  • Experience working directly with product teams or software engineers a plus.
  • General understanding of SaaS economics such as LTV, CAC, payback period, etc.
