Job Summary:
As we continue to grow our Marketing team, we are looking for a passionate Marketing intern to join Invaluable to help with content, communications, and overall marketing administrative support. As a Marketing intern, you will work with senior members of the Marketing team to assist specifically with the Invaluable Blog, Social Media channels, and Website Content. Interns will be paid an hourly wage.
Primary Responsibilities:
Invaluable Blog
- Help upload and proofread content
- Research keywords and linking opportunities for weekly blog posts; help optimize existing blog posts for search
- Assist in the formatting of blog articles per week on WordPress, including finding and resizing images, inserting links, and fact-checking and proofreading text.
- Research bloggers for outreach
Website Content
- Draft gallery and dealer profiles
- Revise/edit category descriptions on Invaluable
Social Media
- Draft and schedule content for social, with a focus on Pinterest, Facebook & Twitter
- Identify 3rd-party content/relevant articles of interest to our audience
- Pull stats from the social landscape for a monthly competitive analysis
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program
- Major or concentration in Marketing, Communications or other related field preferred; Art history background or experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Hootsuite or similar social media management tool preferred
- Familiarity with Photoshop preferred
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
- Outstanding written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
