At PillPack, we use data to understand our customers and tell stories about their experiences. As a Marketing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing customer insights and building experiences that help drive growth. You will work with the Marketing, Product, and Growth teams to convert unstructured and raw data into insights and use those insights to evolve our marketing efforts and media campaigns. Moving fluidly between analytics applications, advertising metrics, and acquisition results, you will help us refine, tune and improve our marketing process.
This role requires a strong quantitative foundation, an appetite for problem solving, and the tenacity to work through complicated problems. You should be comfortable analyzing web and advertising metrics and distilling insights and patterns from use data. You’ll work with an amazing team with a diverse skill set, from brand strategists to designers to developers to data scientists - we all work closely to build the best customer experience imaginable.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about understanding people and their patterns. You love digging into data to find new patterns and you aren’t afraid to learn new tools along the way to get the job done.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON EVERYDAY?
  • Conduct relevant analyses that help drive PillPack’s business, including but not limited to paid media optimization, funnel and conversion behavior, campaign and program impact, and A/B test analysis
  • Design and build analytics tools, dashboards and reports for our product and marketing teams
  • Draw insights, create a narrative, and apply the learnings to optimize customer acquisition, conversion, and retention
  • Compile analyses for reports and make presentations to a broad audience, including senior team members, to shape strategic and operational decisions
  • Design experiments to answer targeted questions
  • Connect and generate insights out of disparate primary and third party sources
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE EXPECT FOR THIS ROLE
  • You love working with data and you understand that to make data usable, it must be understandable
  • BA/BS degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent practical experienceExperience in Google Analytics and other web analytics tools; Experience with SQL and other analysis tools
  • Experience with statistical software (R, Stata, SAS, Python or similar) a plusUnderstanding of core statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, A/B testing and confidence intervals
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize conflicting requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to succinctly summarize key findings
  • Proven track-record of cross-functional collaboration
