Manager, B2B Initiatives
CarGurus is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter to manage B2B initiatives. Working closely with product, engineering, sales and executive teams, this person will lead critical strategic projects and partnerships. The role is highly cross-functional and requires strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and strategic qualities.
Responsibilities:
- Work cross functionally to cultivate and plan B2B initiatives
- Identify and evaluate new business and partner opportunities
- Develop business cases and communicate recommendations to leadership team
- Source, negotiate and launch value-added partnerships
- Make data driven decisions that optimize and scale high value B2B products and partnerships
- Contribute to the achievement of overall business development goals
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience, with 2+ years of business development, management consulting or project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred.
- Self-motivated, well organized and detail-oriented
- Business mindset with experience driving metrics-oriented outcomes
- Excellent analytical skillset, able to understand and translate quantitative and qualitative inputs into actionable strategic direction
- Capable of effectively tracking and reporting on project goals, progress and results
- Strong executive presence, with outstanding communication skills across levels and formats
- High degree of professional and personal integrity
- Comfort working in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel
- Expert in Microsoft Office suite
