TripAdvisor Vacation Rentals is seeking a Junior Account Manager, who will serve as the primary contact for new clients and will be responsible for growing long-term relationships with a portfolio of existing clients within the Professional Account team. The Junior Account Manager will be responsible for both sales and service for the existing portfolio of clients. This individual will primarily focus on understanding client's needs, identifying opportunities to meet the client's needs and generating sales for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing relationships with our Property Managers who list their inventory of properties with TAVR
  • Serves as the main point of contact for current customers to help resolve issues, answer questions, and provide recommendations to help customers optimize their property listings and to enhance content
  • Assists customers via email and inbound phone calls with all aspects of their accounts including billing, plan type options, product updates, editing property content, providing content reviews, providing technical assistance, etc
  • Monitors day-to-day activities to ensure customers have a positive and successful relationship with TAVR
  • Pro-actively reaches out to clients to improve listing quality and content
  • Contribute to revenue goals by increasing listings within portfolio of accounts, driving booking conversion and negotiating renewals
  • Identifies new sales opportunities within existing accounts to up-sell and cross-sell the TripAdvisor Vacation Rental brand
  • Interacts and coordinates with the sales/support team and staff members in other departments to improve the PM product offering
  • Builds strong relationships with clients and helps to educate them on the value of our product offering
  • Has high enthusiasm and interest working directly with customers and as a part of a team
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills; high comfort level receiving inbound emails and making outbound phone calls to current customers
  • Has strong organizational skills and pays close attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Strong proficiency with internet-based applications
  • Works proactively with their manager and team to achieve goals successfully

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of previous customer service or inside sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High comfort level and enthusiasm initiating phone calls to existing clients
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Strong proficiency with Internet-based applications
  • Bachelor’s degree
