You’ll help our customers drive digital innovation by:

• As an Instructional Designer you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of online and classroom course content to educate our partners, customers, and community members to use the Mendix platform in the most effective way. You will be the one who gathers all the knowledge from the subject matter experts within Mendix, translate this into a course outline, and together with the technical writers and motion graphic designer in the community team, deliver training content to educate our community.
• We release a new version of the Mendix platform monthly, packed with features our community can use to drive digital innovation at our customers. With such a high frequency of product updates, our Academy team needs to provide cutting edge and up to date training material, so that we can educate our community with the latest Mendix platform features.




• The Mendix Academy is part of the Community team. The overall responsibility of the Community team is to enable our current community (with 40k+ Mendix developers) with all the information and tools they need, and to grow the size of the community as fast as possible. Our Academy material is crucial for the onboarding of new users and educating them to become true Mendix Expert developers.

You’re the innovator we need if you have:

• Capabilities as an independent team player. Thus, be a self-starter, able to manage your own work, capable to take decisions, able to collaborate with the Academy team and stakeholders
• Experience with creation of online and classroom course content
• Experience with certification exam creation
• Experience with and knowledge about video production process
• IT technical knowledge 
• A passion for hands-on writing and editing 
• Analysis of and reporting on training content
• A deep passion for learning and at pace with the latest technologies that support learning and development
• A careful attention to detail
• Excellent English writing and communication skills
• The ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• A portfolio of educational content
• Demonstrable experience of training and development experience
