Consultant, Incident Response

Rapid7’s Incident Response Consultant role offers the opportunity to work with some of the best in the business on detecting breaches, responding to and investigating attacker activity, and helping our customers improve their abilities to deal with threats. *This role can be located in either one of the following US offices: DC, Boston, Austin, or Los Angeles. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver incident response services, program development services, and IDR program testing
• Ensure customer satisfaction with service offering delivery on multiple engagements
• Execute business improvements, ongoing maturity and operational efficiencies for services delivery
• Partner with customers to become a trusted advisor on behalf of Rapid7
• Deliver technical expertise to customers to improve their security and IDR programs

 Job Requirements:

• 1-3+ years delivering breach detection and response and/or security program development offerings
• Exceptional customer relationship management skills
• Ability to build relationships with, understand business and technical needs of, and deliver demonstrable value to multiple levels of customer stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel at least 35%

 JOB PLUSSES:

• Experience in security practice at a professional services firm or specialized IDR services firm
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, CIS or related field
• CISSP, SANS or equivalent certifications
