EnerNOC, a leading provider of demand response and energy efficiency solutions, has a need for a Human Resources Intern to join our world-class organization during the summer of 2017. The Human Resources Intern will play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the Company's Human Resources Department.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assisting the Recruitment team with candidate communication and interview coordination
  • Coordinating and tracking mandatory background and reference checks for New Hires
  • Processing invoices, including requests for candidate reimbursement
  • Providing onboarding support for new hires as necessary
  • Drafting New Hire, promotion and transfer offer letters
  • Managing confidential HR Personnel Files and I-9 Forms
  • Assisting with New Hire Orientation
  • Entering and tracking HR data as necessary
  • Performing general administrative responsibilities in support of the HR team
  • Planning activities for the summer Internship Program
  • Assisting the HR Business Partner team with ad hoc projects and tasks
  • Performing other duties as required

 The ideal candidate will:

  • Be pursuing their bachelor's degree or have recently completed it
  • Have a strong command of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel
  • Balance a sense of urgency with innate resourcefulness when solving problems
  • Be a great team player in addition to working well independently
  • Have a positive, proactive, can-do attitude
  • Be highly organized and demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Keep a strong internal and external customer focus
  • Be flexible and strategic in handling a broad set of priority issues
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and follow-through
  • Get excited to partner with and learn from a committed team that is passionate about making our energy industry more efficient, effective, and environmentally sustainable
