Outstanding opportunity for a detail-oriented, team player with strong customer service focus! This is a critical role to the success of our HR Team. It’s responsible for onboarding new employees, processing employee changes, answering day to day questions for our employees, managing our leave of absences for the Waltham location and off-boarding employees. The successful person will have superior organizational skills, be customer focused, and have strong attention to detail. Needs a can-do attitude with a proactive, innovative approach. Should also be flexible, positive and have a high degree of maturity and discretion.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain employee transactions and employee records including new hires, employee status changes, transfers and terminations into our HRIS system
  • Organize all aspects of new hire documentation including I-9 verifications and review for accuracy
  • Conduct new hire benefits orientation
  • Maintain employee personnel files
  • Manage leave of absences with 3rd party vendor; answer day/day questions for employees on LOAs and other benefit related questions
  • Handle and maintain highly confidential information
  • Coordinate wellness program activities
  • Schedule/coordinate meetings and training sessions as needed
  • Coordinate employee events
  • Ensure payroll department has accurate and timely information to process payroll as needed
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Create internal offer letters or employment verification letters as needed
  • Assist with other HR projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Two years of administrative/coordinator assistance experience.
  • One year of experience within a Human Resources setting preferred
  • Very detailed and process oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Windows-based computer skills (Gmail, Google Apps, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Experience with ADP or Greenhouse preferred
  • Ability to handle varied personalities and keep calm under pressure
  • Requisite attributes includes personal initiative, strong interpersonal skills, organization skills, problem solving skills, detail oriented, ability to multitask and work with shifting deadlines, commitment to quality control, and flexibility. Able to work well independently and in a team setting.
