We are seeking a Global Logistics Manager to be responsible for logistical and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will be able to identify and deliver solutions to business needs involving partners, vendors and complex system integrations. You must value customer satisfaction and take pride in developing cross-functional solutions which improve the global logistical operations and distribution systems for the Copenhagen Wheel and related products.

What you’ll do:

  • Be responsible for the development, maintenance, optimization and growth of the global logistics network. This network consists of shipping, warehousing, distribution, and other systems partners.
  • Optimize the transportation of products to and from our contract manufacturers, 3PL organizations, resellers and end-consumers.
  • Be responsible for logistical process development and contract negotiations with current and future carriers and 3PLs.
  • Coordinate and improve CTO/MTS order fulfillment and develop a sales and operations planning process to enable effective supply chain management.
  • Evaluate, design, negotiate and implement an integrated ERP/CRM/ECOMM/PLM system which best fits the business and its objectives for growth.
  • Build a team to support the growth and scalability of Superpedestrian’s logistical needs.
  • Be responsible for compliance with worldwide laws and regulations, including hazmat and dangerous goods, related to the shipping and storage of lithium-ion batteries.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years experience in a logistics management role at a manufacturing company
  • Direct experience with applying detail-oriented problem-solving skills to logistics operations and the transportation of goods
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple tasks at once in an agile environment
  • Ability to analyze data, connections and opportunities for process improvement
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and high-pressure work environment while communicating effectively with colleagues, customers and partners.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, regulations, policies and procedures
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain and experience within an office environment dealing with global shipping and inventory management
  • Experience with consumer electronics products and shipping products directly to customers through an e-commerce system is a plus
