As a Front End Web Developer at Circle, you'll write the code that makes the first impression on our customers when they come to Circle -- people from all over the world will use your product every single day. You'll be helping build our web app, our emails, our landing pages, and everything else a customer touches. You will join a fun, productive team in an agile environment and gain real-world experience alongside smart engineers, designers, and writers who care about the brand and product by producing beautiful experiences and quality code.

What you'll work on

• Building important features in our web app and our marketing websites (using Server-rendered EJS templates, and/or Angular.js)
• Building and testing top-notch emails for our in-app notifications (mainly using node.js, EJS, HTML and CSS)
• Supporting our marketing and branding teams by keeping their landing pages up and running
• Building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers the website, microsites, landing pages, emails and more
• Helping keep our app looking great across the countries and languages
• Supporting Circle’s product, brand and go-to-market teams by building pages and producing assets for online campaigns
• Collaborating closely with brand, marketing, design, product and engineering to drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention

Requirements

• Experience building server-side applications using a modern server-side framework, preferably Node.js
• Excellent HTML/CSS skills
• Plain ol’ JavaScript skills, we don’t use jQuery
• 3+ years dev experience
• Experience with email building and testing (usually using Litmus)
• Problem-solving brain, ready to own projects from development to QA to production
• Desire to write readable, well-tested code that will be used by many
