Director of TV Media
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented, seasoned, and dedicated Director of TV Media to join and lead our exciting and fast-paced team in Boston, MA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing agency relationships to optimize, plan and buy our national and DRTV programs. Our ideal candidate has a proven track record and solid working knowledge of growing large customer acquisition campaigns using television short-form advertising to drive customer conversions to an e-commerce site. What you’ll do:
- Own one of the largest and fastest growing marketing channels in the company.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the channel and ensure performance is tracking to goals to support marketing objectives and maximizing new customer growth.
- Create and update TV media plans and manage agency relationships.
- Lead as a critical thinker using data and experience to make sound decisions, even with incomplete information/under pressure.
- Actively engage in our fast-paced ‘Test & Learn’ operating approach by conducting and analyzing results and applying learnings to impact future testing and campaign optimizations.
- Assist in budget development and forecasting while monitoring key metrics and develop strategies to optimize performance.
- Drive segmentation strategies and testing.
What you’ll need:
- 6+ years of experience with TV advertising and analytics.
- Exceptional analytical skills to lead TV efforts and guide decision making to achieve goals set to help grow the company.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to combine creative and analytical mindsets for highly effective marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Work with the entire team to develop marketing strategies to target new customers.
- Experience overseeing eight figure annual media spend against performance metrics and optimize results.
