Circle is looking for an exceptional Director of Public Relations to lead strategic and day-to-day responsibilities for various internal and external communications activities, including full-cycle PR campaigns, executive thought leadership programs, social media initiatives, and influencer engagement.

What you'll work on

  • Manage the planning, development, implementation and execution of regional and international public relations and communications programs
  • Serve as a media liaison and lead or assist on the development of news announcements, written statements, media/customer talking points and Q&As for product and service offerings and ongoing PR campaigns, partnerships, etc.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities that will further Circle’s vision and drive brand awareness, including speaking/event opportunities, awards, and contributed content
  • Liaise with product team, product marketing, and engineering to orchestrate communications to identify and craft compelling storylines across business, tech, and consumer media
  • Provide support for various special events and conferences
  • Respond to press inquiries and act as direct company spokesperson as needed
  • Track and report campaign results, measure program success and report metrics via marketing business intelligence tools
  • Serve as a liaison multiple PR agencies to plan and execute local and international PR campaigns
  • Spearhead cross-functional content marketing initiatives with internal stakeholders
  • Help advise and coordinate social media communications working closely with Circle contributors
  • Develop influencer marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Maintain an active and timely thought leadership platform for content generation and social media campaigns

What you'll bring to Circle

  • 6+ years of public relations experience
  • Proven track record of creating highly successful media relations programs
  • Solid relationships with top tier business and technology press
  • Technology, consumer, and business-to-business PR experience required
  • Proven track record of responding quickly, yet thoughtfully, to urgent PR matters
  • Outstanding attention to detail and an ability to boil down complex product offerings and communicate them effectively
  • Proactive, self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, multi-tasker, creative and analytical
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment is extremely important
  • Exceptional public speaker and presenter
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree
