Director of Online Advertising
As Digital Advertising Manager you are responsible for developing, implementing and managing digital ad campaigns that promote brand awareness and generate leads. You will be a creative genius, have a data driven bias with experience targeting a big data and analytics community. You will be measured on website traffic and lead acquisition through programmatic advertising / retargeting, search engine marketing, and social media. Candidates will have a strong grasp of current digital strategies, brand development and be able to lead integrated digital advertising campaigns from concept to execution including optimization.
Creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and excellent organizational skills are foundational traits for this role with experience of bringing to life brand strategies through digital advertising.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with graphic designers to create highly appealing, attention getting adverts.
- Plan and execute all social media and display advertising campaigns.
- Design, build and maintain DataRobot social media presence.
- Measure and report performance of digital advertising and social media campaigns, assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) and take recovery actions as required.
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
- Collaborate with Web Director to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
- Manage ad agencies.
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
- Analyze how DataRobot brand is positioned in the market vs competition
- Translate brand strategies into go-to-market advertising campaigns
- Lead creative development and create motivating stimulus to get targeted population to “take action”
Skills
- 5+ years of commensurate experience.
- BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field.
- Proven working experience in digital advertising in B2B markets including IP targeting ABM campaigns.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing social media and display advertising campaigns.
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital advertising that engage, inform and motivate.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords, LinkedIn and Facebook campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
