This is an opening for a skilled, thoughtful, and intellectually curious DevOps engineer to join a creative and talented team and help us build and scale GreatHorn's cloud-native infrastructure.
Targeted cyberattacks are the fastest growing threat to today's company's, encompassing a complex set of tactics, techniques, and procedures that criminal hackers use to breach security defenses and steal financial resources, sensitive IP, and personal data. The impact of these attacks is tremendous (>$400m in damages as of the most recent FBI studies), and legacy vendors -- focused on on-premise technology and point solutions for email -- have failed to keep up.
GreatHorn is a comprehensive and cloud-native communication security platform, combining machine learning-driven threat detection and automated response capabilities to enable our customers to identify and shut down these types of attacks before damage occurs.
The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing configuration management and infrastructure automation technologies, with a strong focus on reliability and repeatability in a cloud-native environment.
Skills & Requirements
Working collaboratively with the engineering team, this role will be a key voice in helping us design and manage infrastructure-as-code. The ideal candidate will bring experience in technologies such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Docker, and CloudWatch, and will be comfortable with taking ownership for cloud infrastructure and ensuring that it runs optimally in a fast-paced technical environment.
Demonstrable experience working with cloud services (Google Apps, Azure, AWS, etc.), cybersecurity, and startup environments is a major plus.
