DevOps Engineer
In a Nutshell
We are looking for an experienced engineer who is passionate about the craft of system design.Come throw yourself in the middle of a startup with a get-stuff-done attitude. We have an always-on system married with a continuous deployment workflow, and we are looking for pragmatic, roll-up-your-sleeves engineer to continually improve our system. We're a Python shop, and a knowledge of the language is helpful, but not required. We also have a culture of code reviews and leveling people up. You will be an integral part of a solutions-oriented, positive, and close-knit team engineering team.

What You’ll Do
- Responsible for the health, maintenance and growth of more than 150 physical servers
- Key member of our 24/7 shared on-call rotation
- Troubleshooting and debugging production issues
- Own and refine our escalation procedures, monitoring, and alerting
- Vendor management with key partners
- Improve existing deployment and configuration management processes, increasing automation where possible
A strong candidate for this role has:
- At least 3 years of experience working with a configuration management tool set (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chef, etc.).
- Loves to Linux
- Scripting proficiency, this role is 25% development 75% operational tasks
- Networking experience preferred
