As a Developer Experience Engineer you will support the greater DataRobot Engineering team by building developer tools and shortening feedback cycles through efficient and smart automation. Strong development skills are a must, with hands on experience writing python (and bash) and experience implementing and maintaining high levels of CI automation.

To succeed at this role it is required that you are both extremely familiar working on and in Linux systems and virtualization, and comfortable communicating with developers to gather requirements and quickly update developer tools and automation to better support workflows throughout Engineering.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in Python, *nix environments, and version control software
• 3+ Years experience with Jenkins/related CI tools.
• A track record of building software to optimize and improve development workflows
• Experience with Docker and related containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Fluency with testing frameworks and testing methodologies- keen eye for good tests and bad ones.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attitude and desire to get things done.
