We are currently looking to expand our team and are searching for individuals with expertise in spatial data analysis, remote sensing, GIS and environmental problem solving.
We are looking for candidates who have extensive experience:
- using Python and R for data analysis
- writing well-documented, clean, maintainable code in a collaborative environment
- with git or a similar version control software
- working in a cloud-based UNIX environment
- developing and applying machine learning and statistical models to large-scale, real-world datasets
- analyzing spatial data using open source platforms (QGIS, PostGIS, CARTO)
- working with satellite imagery or other raster data
Additionally, successful candidates will be able to:
- work well both as a team member and independently
- translate the results of complex analyses into interpretable results, visually and verbally
The following attributes are desired, but not required:
- An advanced academic degree with a strongly quantitative focus
- Experience in a software and/or product development environment
