Now, we are looking for an experienced Data Scientist who is passionate about the entire process of developing new research insights and analytical models, from describing the datasets needed, to identifying and weighing specific data features, to creating, training, and testing new models. The output will enable us to continue to protect our users from the most sophisticated cybersecurity threats, while eliminating the hassle of false positive results.

Must haves:

  • A minimum of 5 years industry experience solving business problems through application of quantitative analytic approaches
  • Degree in quantitative field such as statistics, applied mathematics or computer science
  • Experience in describing and collecting appropriate target datasets, including compensating controls to avoid biases, ageing, and duplication
  • Development and debugging experience in at least one programming language such as Python, Julia, R, Java, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, specifically the ability to communicate complex ideas and results in a clear, precise, and actionable manner
  • Execution focused, team-oriented, with an ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment

Even Better:

  • Relational database and SQL experience such as Postgres, MySQL, Redshift
  • Experience in advanced machine-learning methodologies (e.g. supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning etc.)
  • Experience in the field of cybersecurity, particularly experience with security-related incident, malware, or logfile data sets before
