InsightSquared is seeking a dynamic, creative, and collaborative Customer Trainer to join our Services team. The Customer Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering engaging, effective virtual trainings and educational content to new and existing clients, in order to empower them to use the InsightSquared business intelligence tool most effectively in their organization. Working closely across teams with Customer Success Managers, Product Specialists, and Account Executives to identify and meet client training needs, the Customer Trainer reports to the Director of Customer Services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct trainings for new clients during the key Customer Launch period
  • Prepare and deliver materials to accompany trainings, such as self-serve resources and multimedia reference guides
  • Continually improve training curricula and materials, keeping up with industry best practice and customer needs; continuously seek out new learning channels and delivery methods
  • Learn and maintain deep knowledge of the InsightSquared product in order to teach different audiences how they can leverage the tool for business gain
  • Deeply engage with customer requirements in order to deliver customized, effective trainings
  • Collaborate effectively across InsightSquared teams to communicate and deliver on unique customer needs

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong Presentation and Public Speaking Skills

    • On the phone, the Customer Trainer is professional, charismatic, and interactive
    • Delivers presentations that are cohesive, persuasive, and memorable
    • Able to easily switch between technologies, including GoToMeeting, PowerPoint, and the InsightSquared tool

  • Dedicated Teacher/Facilitator

    • Passionate about enabling customers to succeed
    • Able to listen and understand audiences’ needs in order to adapt content
    • Able to become an expert in the InsightSquared product in order to become an effective advocate for its use, and an engaging learning resource for clients

  • Highly Collaborative and Creative

    • Can communicate across departments to solve for unique customer needs
    • Able to develop materials across a variety of media

  • Organized and Attentive to detail
  • Maintains knowledge of various in-flight client trainings
  • Organizes and delivers learning resources in a timely, thorough manner
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in training, teaching, or a related area (0-3 years)
  • Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
