The ideal candidate will be highly organized, efficient, proactive, impeccably trustworthy, and resourceful.

The day to day:

  • Respond to incoming inquiries relating to Iora’s compliance framework, while ensuring a quick turnaround and excellent customer service
  • Assist with document and contract management
  • Provide filing and administrative support

 Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a health care compliance role
  • HCCA certification in health care compliance preferred
  • BA/BS (JD candidates strongly encouraged to apply)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HIPAA (including the security regulations) and federal fraud and abuse laws (e.g. anti-kickback, Stark, CMP)
  • Experience developing and overseeing an audit program to monitor compliance and identify areas of vulnerability
  • Experience interacting with high-level professionals in a manner consistent with high quality service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and external partners
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to multi-task and prioritize activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills, assertiveness, diplomacy, and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment: you recognize that Iora is still a startup, and we are learning every day about what works best to deliver on our compliance needs
