As an engineer on the Cloud Engineering - Networking team, the software you write will run on tens of thousands of hypervisors across our global infrastructure network. You will be responsible for building the next generation of networking on our platform: providing flexible, yet simple, primitives that our customers have come to love. This position can be worked remotely or from our offices in NYC or in Cambridge, MA.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and maintain a high availability CI/CD Infrastructure stack for testing and deploying networking features.
• Develop a test automation framework to support your team’s TDD efforts, scale and performance testing across different network configurations.
• Continuously monitor pipeline performance, and ensure there are no bottlenecks, recommend and implement solutions
• Develop performance and reliability tests used to enhance throughput and availability
• Build network automation and monitoring tools.
• Research emerging test tools, trends and methodologies and enhance existing systems and processes

What We'll Expect From You:

• Significant experience in building internal developer/test tools, frameworks and infrastructure.
• DO is built by developers for developers. You’ve got a penchant for testing, an appreciation for engineering velocity, and are a developer at your core
• Deep understanding of the network stack, TCP/IP, and low level packet/frame architecture
• Expertise with technologies like: Git, Ansible, Avocado, Cucumber, Selenium etc
• Expertise with at least one of the following languages: Go, Java, Python, C/C++
• Experience building reliable, maintainable, and tested software across large deployments
• Deep understanding of Linux
• Good written communication skills and presentation skills
• Bonus: Background in network engineering
