We're hiring for a Client Services Manager (CSM) to join our Customer Success organization and add to our customer-centric, winning culture! This position will play a direct role in helping our customers realize the power of the Turbonomic Hybrid Cloud Management platform as we transform the IT industry. 

 

Our Client Services Manager is the services sales professional who not only understands the capabilities of the Turbonomic solution, but also how to create a successful services program around its adoption into customer environments. You will be an extension of the Turbonomic Account Team that sits within the Customer Success organization. This critical role is chartered with understanding customer requirements, documenting those requirements and creating scoping documentation (Statements of Work, Proposals, Quotes and Datasheets). The CSM, in conjunction with the Turbonomic Account Team, is also responsible for documenting engagement goals, ensuring a smooth transition to Customer Experience and Implementation & Integration teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • Learn the Turbonomic value proposition across Performance, Efficiency and Compliance
  • Use consultative selling to identify customer pain points associated with large virtual and cloud environments
  • Act as an extension of the Turbonomic Account team – conducting yourself in a professional and customer-centric way at all times
  • Create detailed and professional Statements of Work, Proposals, Project Charters and Datasheets that captures both customer requirements and engagement outcomes
  • Deliver services/solution-centric presentations in person and assist sales directors with ROI presentations
  • Provide input and feedback to Engineering and Development teams in a systematic way during Quarterly Technical Reviews and Product Roadmap sessions
  • Willingness to travel to customers and Turbonomic HQ as necessary

What you'll bring:

  • Extensive experience (5-10) years in infrastructure IT services
  • 3-5 years in infrastructure IT services sales
  • Experience writing complex Statements of Work and Proposals with the ability to negotiate terms and conditions (in conjunction with Product and Legal teams)
  • Experience meeting with sales prospects in person, understanding complex environments and delivering the Turbonomic value propositions effectively
  • Highly motivated, competitive, and passionate team player who is driven to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced, and high activity environment
  • Strong affinity for customer relationship management and requirements gathering
  • Understanding of the virtualization management competitive landscape, and technical features of competing products within the ecosystem
  • Astute in presenting to and conversing with customers; ability to deliver solution message, critical success factors and critical dependencies to success in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field. CS, Economics, or Engineering is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Able to support an entire region of salespeople (e.g. East)
  • Able to travel as necessary
  • Candidates who live and can travel in the Eastern US will be considered
