Sales Development Representative
Typical morning for sales
• The entire team sitting in their seats and ready to go before 9.
• Music is playing.
• Nina (recently promoted SMB rep) is giving Nolan (SDR) a hard time, all in good fun.
• Dave (VP of Sales), the fearless leader, mentors the people in the group and is being very selective in regards to future hires.
• Brian (Director of SDRs) refuses to use his big monitor and squints at his laptop screen. He’s been here since 7am!
• Zack is eating his 3rd breakfast (it is bagel Wednesday after all).
• Caitlin (our newest SDR) is shaking off the morning before she overachieves...again!
• Derek (SDR) grasps his Starbucks coffee (no shortage of those in the area) in one hand and scrolls through his upcoming schedule with the other hand.
• 9 am hits and they’re all on the phone.
Join Barkly’s growing sales team
Our sales group is fairly new. We have just started to build the team in June of 2017. We have made great hires and people are doing very well in their positioning of the Barkly product. Both Dave and Brian spend a lot of time mentoring the team and educating them on the technology for the second-to-none malware protection solution that Barkly offers. The SDRs are tasked with setting up appointments for our Account Executives (Nina, Kurt, Ryan, and Bryan). The appointments that the SDRs schedule come from their own efforts in prospecting as well as leads that are generated by our marketing team.
Barkly is a start-up and will become a leader in the cybersecurity industry. Who doesn’t want in on that?!
