Bike sharing is a $1B+ market segment of the shared economy, that is moving beyond the early adopters and becoming mainstream, and Zagster is capitalizing on the opportunity. We’ve recently raised $10 million in Series B funding and operate more than 140 bike sharing programs, with clients such as Princeton University, Fort Collins Colorado, General Motors and Equity Properties. Overview:

We are looking for an exceptional Business Development Representative who can get the world’s leading organizations excited about bike sharing. This fast-paced, quota-carrying role is designed to crank up our business development efforts while building your career. 

The Business Development Representative is often the first point of contact for Zagster’s customers, so it is important that you have a high level of energy, natural communication skills, and an eagerness to work in a fast-paced start-up with significant accountability.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships through outbound prospecting
  • Success identifying key players and decision makers in the decision making process
  • Quota achievement through prospecting, identifying, and creating sales opportunities

Requirements:

  • 6 months - 2 years professional experience
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Highly motivated and energetic
  • Outgoing, with strong communications skills
  • Active listening skills and a genuine curiosity to uncover customer needs, evaluation processes, and solution potential.
  • Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.

  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • You’ve won awards and have held leadership positions
  • You’re passionate about bicycling, the sharing economy, transportation, and/or sustainability
