Black Duck On-Demand, the hands-down market leader in open source audits and name brand in M&A due diligence services, seeks an energetic, sophisticated salesperson. You will report to the Black Duck On-Demand Sales Manager and will work as part of a small team to rapidly grow our already successful east coast business. The position will be based out of Burlington, MA office. The right candidate will be able to both proactively prospect and turn on a dime when (on a daily basis) attorneys and senior managers in software companies come to us with their urgent needs. It’s a blast, and you better come ready to rock every day.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Respond instantly to inquiries and manage the entire sales cycle to close and beyond
- Through calls, presentations and visits, build relationships and trust with serial acquirers and M&A community
- Coordinate with On-Demand Delivery Team to provide exceptional service
- Aggressively prospect, identify and qualify new account opportunities
- Achieve quarterly quota metrics and forecast sales activity accurately
Requirements:
- Five years in business experience with at least two years of successfully selling complex software or services
- Experience negotiating contracts and agreements
- Juggling expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Comfort calling high on C-level executives, lawyers and investment professionals and ability to inspire confidence.
- High energy. Customer focus. Ability to get stuff done.
- Understanding software and software development is a plus
- Solid computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Salesforce. com is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree, technical is a plus
