DataRobot is looking for DevOps Engineers with AWS expertise and Python programming experience to help us maintain and improve our highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS cloud.

You will work with other team members to automate infrastructure processes, and to build tools to improve our AWS cloud usage efficiency. You will take part in building and improving our deployment and scaling processes. You will work closely with the Developers to ensure efficiency on product releases. You will work with other team members or independently to troubleshoot issues that arise with the application and escalate to software engineering when necessary. You are expected to assist other team members on system and infrastructure related issues when necessary. You will participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 3+ years with hands-on experience running a 24x7 production environments
• 3+ years automating infrastructure processes on AWS
• 3+ years with Python programming
• Solid experience with Linux installation, configuration and administration, preferably with CentOS/RHEL
• Knowledge of configuration management tools, like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc; preferably with Ansible

Desired

• Experience with infrastructure capacity planning and scaling
• Experience with AWS autoscaling and spot instance usage optimization
• Experience with Pre-production release management, stage the production setup and test prior to moving any release to production
• Experience with Hadoop installation, configuration administration; preferably with Cloudera and Hortonworks
• Experience with container technologies
• Experience with database configuration and administration; preferably with MongoDb and Redis and database replication
• Experience with systems, network and application security, encryption
• Knowledge of agile development and continuous deployment
• Good writing and communication skills
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification is a plus
• Bachelors in Computer Science, related field or equivalent demonstrable experience
