Business Development Coordinator, Advantage Media

We are searching for a Business Development Coordinator who can support digital leadership on new and existing client relationships while helping to grow our Advantage Media presence.

The Business Development Coordinator role is perfect for candidates who have an entrepreneurial spirit and are seeking an agency environment that combines a start-up mentality with the support, resources and backing of a 20+ year leading digital agency. As Business Development Coordinator you will help support the business development/sales team by helping them sell through digital marketing solutions across a roster of clients.

The Business Development Coordinator will work in close partnership with other internal teams—Client Services, Ad Operations, Production, Marketing, etc—to accelerate the growth of sales opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with sales and marketing to create new client presentation decks.
  • Incorporate url and video links into proposal slides for a robust and dynamic presentation experience, as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for proposals, sales materials, etc.
  • Define realistic turnaround times for delivery of assigned materials or projects. Project manage the responsible parties to attain timelines.
  • Work with the sales reps to develop strategic digital marketing plans and ideas for sales calls.
  • Pull screenshots of successful campaigns upon request.
  • Coordinate with client services team and/or marketing to deliver case study materials to clients.
  • Create, own, and compile a spreadsheet or report of active accounts per rep with campaign flight dates, client goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on sales rep MTD and YTD goal attainment.
  • Proactively review opportunities for all active accounts.
  • Research digital marketing trends and compile a weekly update of the most important information that sales reps should share with their clients and prospects.
  • Work with client services and operations to pull inventory and budgets for specific campaigns as requested.
  • Work closely with the client service and operations teams and develop, as well as improve, certain aspects of the proposals submitted by the business development/sales team.
  • Build relationships with clients alongside business development/sales leader.
  • Build relationships internally within the Advantage Media ecosystem to manage priorities, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Understand all Advantage Media products and solutions. Be able to apply these learnings in a consultative selling manner.
  • Learn programmatic terminology and use of the terminology (eg, DSP, DMP, RTB, ROI, ROAS, etc.).
  • Learn other partner platforms as needed. Earn certifications if needed.
  • Disseminate client success stories to the broader team, as directed by the business development leadership.

Additional Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Be creative, smart, and customer acquisition focused at all times.
  • Be extremely organized.
  • Learn CRM reporting (Hubspot) and how to provide reports on-demand to the sales reps.
  • Articulate new ideas to help drive sales including marketing ideas, vertical insights or ideas on how to approach problems.
  • Professionally manage client feedback, direction and expectations that results in trust-based client relationships.
  • Special projects as requested by leadership.

Experience Required:

  • Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Minimum 1-3 years’ experience working in interactive media in some capacity (i.e. Search, Social, Display, Mobile, Programmatic, etc.)
  • Proven ability to results through effective written and verbal story-telling.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Sharp analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills. Other platform or software skills are a plus.
  • Technical web experience, such as expertise in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, is a plus.
