Boston, MA (Preferred) or San Diego, CA

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the VP of North America Sales, the Account Manager will be part of a dynamic team that is selling the world’s premier eCommerce analytics solution. Profitero is actively tracking more than 300 million products across 4,000 retailer websites. 

The Account Manager will be responsible for select existing Profitero customers with the goal to renew, up-sell, and provide first line technical support of Profitero’s SaaS-based Digital Shelf and Sales & Share estimation solutions. Ideal candidates will have the ability to consult with customers, renew/grow accounts, and perform product demonstrations/trainings in easily understood terms while developing strong relationships with their assigned customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Achieve annual assigned sales target 
  • Build a up-sell/renewal strategy for each account
  • Provide first line support, conduct trainings, demonstrations, face-to-face meetings, be the “quarterback” for the account
  • Ability to confidently demonstrate the products and its value
  • Keep in touch and build relationships with key contacts at assigned accounts
  • Accurate and consistent logging of sales/support activity
  • Provide prospects with formal proposals
  • Work with Profitero partners to help grow business 
  • Ensuring data accuracy in customer accounts 
EXPERIENCE 
  • 5+ years of relevant account management experience with proven track record
  • 2+ experience with supporting a SaaS based solution on the technical side
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication (written and oral) and active listening skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask to effectively prioritize and manage workflow
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities as well as interpersonal skills
  • Strong competitive drive & goal driven-should have strong desire to exceed expectations 
  • A proven track record of, consistent quota attainment or overachievement
  • Self-starter and highly motivated; ability to quickly “think on your feet”
SALARY 
  • Highly competitive base plus very lucrative commission plan, including health, dental, 401k etc.
  • Base salary will depend upon experience level.
