Account Executive

Placester is looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our growing sales team.

Account Executives at Placester are responsible for consulting prospects, making suggestions on tools and online marketing strategies, and closing new business consistently at or above quota. Prospective clients will largely consist of real estate agents, brokers and other related real estate professionals, so Account Executives will learn and own this specific channel.

Our AE’s only work with highly qualified leads looking for online marketing solutions; NO cold calling or cold prospecting in this role! You’ll become an expert at all things related to real estate websites and online marketing, serve as a brand evangelist for Placester’s suite of products, and really get to help people build more successful businesses. Day-to-day you’ll be following up on highly qualified leads, building relationships with internal stakeholders to grow new business, and ultimately help real estate professionals succeed online.

About You:

  • You’ve got experience within a sales team that produces and exceeds their goals consistently, you may have even been a part of a growing startup.
  • You’re familiar with basic SaaS sales concepts and structure.
  • You’re competitive and love to be on a team that gets acknowledged for doing well.
  • You can talk to anyone about technology and feel comfortable breaking it down for them
  • You’re analytical and love figuring out how to get better at what you do
  • You’re social, you love the internet and are excited to help others find the best way to get value out of their efforts online.
  • You are super organized and are used to juggling multiple objectives at once, keeping priorities in mind and always have a method for attaining and exceeding your goals.

Requirements:

  • 2-5+ years of selling experience working within a web tech, SaaS or online product environment
  • Experience working with small business owners, marketers, and executives
  • Goal oriented and experienced at moving team goals forward
  • Comfortable interacting with colleagues of all levels and abilities
  • Ability to self-motivate
  • Experience in a role where you've had to multi-task with scope and scale of work
  • Outstanding closing skills
  • Handy with Google Apps, and Salesforce

Bonus:

  • Experience with real estate software
  • Experience with online marketing
  • Experience with Wordpress or other CMS
